Pay From: $50.00 per hour


MUST:

Experienced Space Systems Engineer

Active TS/SCI clearance required

8+ years experience with satellite systems

8+ years of experience in systems engineering

Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction

Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics required. Masters degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math) or related discipline preferred

DUTIES:

Design and analyze space systems, including satellites, launch vehicles, and ground support equipment

Conduct trade studies to evaluate system performance and optimize design solutions

Collaborate with project stakeholders to define system requirements, interfaces, and specifications

Plan and oversee system integration and testing to ensure compliance with project milestones

Develop and maintain documentation related to system design, testing, and operational procedures

Support mission operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise during launch and in-space operations

Define organizational systems engineering processes, such as requirements or interface management

Capable of largely operating independently in response to high-level guidance and direction from the Government
