Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Manager with 8+ years of experience in Release Management and IT Service Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT services and ensuring the successful release of software products. This hybrid role requires a native English speaker who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of software releases to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Oversee the IT service management processes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to the development team to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure their needs are met.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Implement best practices for release management to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new releases.
  • Manage project budgets and resources to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Conduct post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for release management processes.
  • Provide training and support to team members on release management and IT service management practices.
Qualifications
  • Must have extensive experience in release management and IT service management.
  • Should possess strong project management skills with a focus on delivery.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English.
  • Should have a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Certifications Required

ITIL Certification PMP Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

This role is accepting application through 5/10/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $73,000-$116,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
