TSC's Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) division, is seeking an experienced Security Manager/Facility Security Officer in Sierra Vista, AZ to oversee security operations for a facility under a U.S. government contract, including the management of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). The Security Manager will ensure compliance with all federal security regulations, safeguard classified information, manage personnel security, and maintain a secure environment in alignment with contract requirements. This role requires a proactive leader with expertise in government security protocols, SCIF operations, and the ability to collaborate with government representatives, facility staff, and corporate leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain security policies in compliance with NISPOM, DCSA, ICDs, and applicable federal regulations.
  • Oversee the full security program, including physical, personnel, information, and classified material security, with a focus on SCIF operations.
  • Manage day-to-day SCIF security in accordance with ICD 705, including access control and intrusion detection.
  • Coordinate SCIF accreditation and inspections with government authorities.
  • Administer security clearance processes (e.g., DISS/JPAS), with emphasis on SCI eligibility.
  • Deliver security training, briefings, and indoctrinations related to classified access and SCIF protocols.
  • Conduct security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance and SCIF integrity.
  • Liaise with FSOs, DCSA, and contracting officials to maintain compliance and resolve issues.
  • Investigate and report on security incidents, including SCIF breaches.
  • Maintain accurate records for clearances, access logs, visitor tracking, and incident documentation.
  • Ensure proper safeguarding, handling, storage, and destruction of classified materials.
  • Stay informed on federal and SCIF-specific policy updates and implement changes as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, business administration, or a related field, plus a minimum of 8 years of security management experience, with at least 3 years supporting U.S. government contracts or facilities requiring adherence to NISPOM.
  • US Citizenship with an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and respond to incidents on-site as needed and lift up to 25 pounds (e.g., moving security equipment or materials).
  • In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and federal security regulations.
  • Proficiency with security management software (e.g., JPAS/DISS, SIMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an FSO or Assistant FSO on a government contract with SCIF responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with specific contract requirements (e.g., DoD, DOE, or Intelligence Community standards) and SCIF accreditation processes.
  • Experience conducting insider threat assessments or managing multiple SCIFs within a single facility.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive and classified information with integrity.
  • Ability to analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies effectively.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with government officials and employees.
