We are looking for a motivated and experienced Plant Manager to join our team at the Marshall, NC location. The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of plant operations, focusing on continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration. This role requires a strong leader who can model Printpack's Core Values and Expectations of Leaders. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that safety is a top priority by implementing and maintaining robust safety programs and protocols.

  • Lead and manage all plant operations to ensure efficient and effective production processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Model and promote Printpack's Core Values and Expectations of Leaders, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Collaborate with other departments and teams across Printpack to achieve company-wide goals and objectives.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance and achieve operational excellence.

  • To support our Associate Value Proposition, manage and mentor plant staff, providing direction and clarity in objectives to maximize alignment, nurturing an environment of healthy conflict, and guiding and mentoring the leadership team and future leaders.

  • Build and sustain communication with associates.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Stay current with the latest site management best practices and operations technology from inside and outside the business to optimize plant operations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing management experience, preferably in the flexible packaging industry.

  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving operational excellence.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • In-depth knowledge of strategies to deploy effective safety programs in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
