Data Analytics Software Developer - XynQAPI

Under the guidance of the Senior Director and Associate Director of Data Science and in collaboration with the XynQAPI team, the Data Analytics Developer will be supporting monthly and bi-annual reporting tasks requiring data collection, processing, report generation and validation. This role will receive extensive training and will become a key member of a multidisciplinary team of software developers, physicians, epidemiologists and data scientist and will have an opportunity to participate in new analytic product development.

The position is remote and preference will be given to candidates based near to Omaha, NE or St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform support tasks related to XynQAPI's monthly production and bi-annual updates
  • Monitor report execution and perform extensive validation
  • Participate in report automation and quality improvement tasks
  • Generate custom client reports
  • As needed, implement incremental changes in the existing production code
  • In collaboration with XynQAPI team, participate in development of new analytic solutions

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics or software development role
  • Proficiency in R and SQL
  • Experience with version control tools (Git preferred)
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, team player
  • Strong attention to detail in QA/validation
  • Demonstrable experience automating data pipelines or reporting tasks
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and relational databases
  • Strong communication skills - ability to explain analytic results to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to travel at will (During the first 3-6 months, 30% travel may be required for onboarding and training)

Preferred:

  • Experience with healthcare datasets, EMRs, or disease registries
  • Familiarity with Salesforce SOQL
  • Experience in data visualization and report development
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and ticket tracking systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)

San Francisco Bay Area Roles:

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Brisbane, California is $109,000 to $125,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
