Overview

We are seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to join our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team as Radiographic Testing (RT) or Computed Radiographer (CR) Level II (Thursday to Sunday Shift).

You'll continue to gain real-world experience in industrial settings (such as aerospace or energy), supporting certified technicians while learning to operate X-ray and gamma-ray equipment, process digital images, and follow strict safety and compliance procedures.

Salary: $25- $32/hour (Depending on Experience)

Shift: Thursday to Sunday, from 5am - 3:30pm

Differential: $3/hour shift diff



Responsibilities

    Perform RT (film and/or gamma) and CR inspections in accordance with written procedures, techniques, and customer specifications.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and interpret, evaluate, and document results.
  • Apply working knowledge of radiographic quality indicators (IQI), image processing, and exposure techniques.
  • Operate radiation-emitting devices safely and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety practices and site-specific protocols.
  • Prepare and review inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation for customer and regulatory audits.
  • Mentor and oversee Level I and trainee technicians, providing guidance and ensuring work quality.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean, and compliant manner.
  • Travel to field sites or client facilities as required, often under varying environmental conditions.


Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is a plus.
  • Certification as NDT Level II in RT and/or CR, in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS 410, or equivalent.
  • Documented on the job training and experience hours in RT/CR per applicable standards.
  • Radiation Safety Certification / Industrial Radiographer Card (State/IRRSP/RECIPROCITY) is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-method NDT certifications (MT, PT, UT) are a strong plus.
  • Experience working in industries such as aerospace, or energy.
  • Familiarity with digital radiography software and image quality assessments.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of RT/CR methods and defect characterization.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently and managing time efficiently.
  • Comfortable mentoring less-experienced technicians in field settings.
