Mechanical Engineer - Mid

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Mid-Level.

Located on-site in Ventura, CA.

This role supports our Air Dominance contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drawing reviews
• Grasp of form fit, function for End Of Life products (EOL)
• Corrective actions
• Revision updates
• Understanding of electronics
• Ability with tools to get into the consoles and replace components
• Interface with users of equipment
• Understanding how to write Engineering Change Orders
• Interpret ECR's, ECP's
• Solidworks
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
• Ability to work with a team
• Writing tech manuals
• Troubleshooting to diagnose issues and provide feedback
• Purchase requests
• Ability to work solely to fix problems
• Documentation on revisions

Experience Requirements:

• 6 to 10 years' experience in mechanical engineering

Education Requirements:

• Engineering degree is a specified field: electrical - mechanical- Software

Security Clearance:

• Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one
