In this role, you will ensure the detailed operation of the Culinary Department. Your role will involve assisting with the preparation and cooking of various food items, developing daily menu items, and their garnishment. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to craft outstanding menus and assist with ordering. This is an exciting position for an ambitious Culinary professional! Key Responsibilities: Assist the Executive Chef with handling cost controls and expenditures Plan and construct innovative menus Produce and successfully complete catering events Implement new culinary programs in collaboration with our marketing and culinary team Preferred Qualifications: A.S. degree or equivalent experience Confirmed dynamic culinary/kitchen management experience Catering experience is a plus High volume, sophisticated foodservice operations experience is helpful Institutional and batch cooking experience advantageous Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail, and the Internet Dedication to client happiness programs and activities ServSafe certified is helpful Apply to Flik today!
