The Market Development Manager, in collaboration with the Global Marketing Director SUS, is responsible for the development and implementation of the SUS, and moreover the BPS, Business' global strategy, both in the Biopharmaceutical Market and Cell and Gene Therapy Markets. Will create the strategic proposals by collecting, analyzing and synthesizing global market trends, assessing their impact on the business, understanding the business' strongest value proposition and identifying customers' unmet needs. Will identify strategic market segments/applications/modalities. Supports the sales team to grow the business by formalizing the market strategy. Ensures close collaboration with the R&D teams. Screens and ranks opportunities based on market assessments and strategic fit, presents strategic market trends and applications, collaborates on potential customer problem statements with R&D, and builds business cases to support R&D investments and new product & service development. Education: Bachelor's Degree - Business, Engineering, Marketing, Biology, Biotech or Other Technical/Related Field; Required. Master's Degree - Business, Engineering, Marketing, Biology, Biotech or Other Technical Field; Preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience within R&D, Strategic Marketing, Market Research & Analysis; Required. Experience with Corporate Strategy & Market Development; Required. 3+ years, Preferred. Exposure to Life Sciences - with experience working in, or adjacent to, the Biopharmaceutical & Cell Gene Therapy industry; Preferred. A little more about us

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $102,000 to $158,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,260 to $178,540. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee. Employees have the flexibility to choose the benefits that best fit their individual needs.
