JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP) is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to develop and execute strategic marketing and communications plans including strategy, branding, marketing and communications support for PennTAP and related programming. The role necessitates project management of all marketing and communications activities targeting both internal and external audiences that advance the goals of the program. The specialist will have direct responsibility for partnering with Invent Penn State and other resources to develop digital and physical marketing assets, and traditional, digital and social media content. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
A portion of this position will be devoted to developing and fostering relationships with communications contacts across the university (colleges, campuses, and units) and external to the university (industry publications and economic development partners) to foster collaboration. Qualifications: This position will be filled at the Senior Professional level and requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or higher and 6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
