Position Description

We're looking for a full-time, staff Recruiter 2 to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Tonopah, AZ. Under the direction of the Recruiting Manager and Recruiter 3, the Recruiter 2 will perform pro-active recruiting efforts to fill immediate openings as well as pipeline for future opportunities within MC Open Shop. Recruiter 2 will perform general recruiting responsibilities in regards to reviewing, clearing candidates and completing candidate post-offer/pre-employment activities. Recruiter 2 will seek moderate/minimal guidance and be given direction to continue to learn the business, develop recruiting skills, grow within the role. Recruiter 2 will continue to strengthen MC Open Shop knowledge of processes, client or customer needs, and industry standards. Recruiter 2 will work towards fulfilling both individual performance goals as well as contributing to the overall success of the business. This position will provide training as needed to Recruiter 1. Must be willing to work overtime as required.

As the Recruiter 2, here's the work you'll do:

  • Executes full life cycle recruitment with moderate/minimal guidance for all field craft personnel including: sourcing/identifying leads, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and submission of resumes/candidates for approval as required. Fills various types of field personnel into a diverse pool of positions as assigned, with awareness of productivity goals. Responsible for following all policies and guidelines, and meets client service objectives.
  • Maintains strong knowledge and understanding of craft disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical. Ensures candidates meet qualification requirements of the client contract by understanding resume discipline information submitted by candidate.
  • Coordinates candidate selection for offer delivery/acceptance with requesting client sites and divisions.
  • Communicates/collaborates with peers by sharing recruiting best practices and providing accurate, thorough documentation. Maintains ongoing relationship with candidates including: providing feedback from client, coaching and counseling as needed and resolving problems during the recruiting process/job duration. Interfaces with the Security Department in reference to background checks and security clearances as well as, various departments outside of recruiting.
  • Creates and maintains requisitions and assignments in TempHelp database. Tracks staffing process and documentation, including recording of all contacts and status of resume submittal.
  • Generates staffing reports. Works to understand the client's needs and reacts appropriately in an environment of competing priorities. All other duties as assigned.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Experienced in computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office. Ability to type with accuracy and ease.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong customer service and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Craft Professional skill sets and Industry.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED. Some college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of computer based training, background and drug screening process.



In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,200 - $91,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
