Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Service Desk Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-focused mindset and a proven track record in help desk or service desk roles. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first-level technical support to internal users, ensuring a high first-level resolution rate (over 90%). - Manage and resolve incidents and service requests using tools like Active Directory, Azure, and permissions management. - Support both Windows and Mac systems. - Utilize ServiceNow for incident and request management as the company transitions to this platform. - Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring timely and effective communication with users. - Collaborate with team members nationwide, including remote colleagues, to deliver consistent and reliable IT support. Qualifications: - 4+ years of IT-related experience - Proven experience in help desk or service desk roles. - Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure, permissions management, and supporting both Windows and Mac systems. - experience using ServiceNow in any capacity. - Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment: - Based in Alpharetta, Georgia, with a nationwide team that includes remote members. (this person must be local to Alpharetta) - Fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality IT support. *Skills* servicenow, active directory, windows, mac, permissions management, customer service oriented, azure *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
