About the Role

As an Investment Associate at First Western, you will provide crucial support to our portfolio management and wealth teams, working to maintain and grow client relationships. This role involves a combination of administrative tasks and client-facing responsibilities, where you'll assist portfolio managers in managing client portfolios and supporting investment strategies. You will have the opportunity to help ensure clients receive exceptional service, address investment-related inquiries, and manage account maintenance.

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative and client service support to portfolio managers and investment teams.

  • Assist in maintaining and reviewing client portfolios, including trade inputs, client money movements, and asset reviews.

  • Serve as a backup point of contact for clients, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing inquiries.

  • Respond proactively to portfolio-related requests and ensure the timely delivery of information.

  • Support sales efforts, including preparing RFPs and sales materials for new opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks independently.

  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work with urgency and develop positive client relationships.

  • Self-starter who can solve problems and make decisions independently.
