Summary/ Objective:

The person's primary responsibility is to set up, support, optimize, and enhance our Tecsys WMS platform. This role will be responsible for the system administration, user setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of the WMS. This role will also be responsible for seeking out continuous improvements in our warehouse operations. This person will be involved in inventory management, order fulfillment and will be the primary person responsible for our volumetric data

Essential Functions:

• Setup, administer and configure the WMS
• Support the users on the WMS
• Analyze warehouse performance and workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve WMS related issues
• Collect and review volumetric dimensional data via Cubiscan and other sources
• Review daily inventory discrepancies between Eclipse ERP and WMS
• Create and maintain work instructions and system documentation for processes as well as troubleshooting guides
• Assist with employee training of the WMS
• Develop an understanding of all WMS associated hardware and software
• Review, improve and develop KPI's to identify trends for performance improvement
• Create consistency and cohesion across all departmental processes/procedures and interdepartmental processes/procedures.
• Auditing all processes to confirm accuracy of data and inventory
• Assist with development of WMS reporting, dashboards and KPI's
• Responsible for all testing of user acceptance and upgrades

Supervisory Responsibility:

• This position is not a supervisory role

Work Environment:

• This job is a full-time position in our Harrisburg warehouse, and time will be split between an office setting and being on the warehouse floor. This position requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, internet, smart phones, and photocopiers. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, but flexibility may be required for late mornings to working late evenings.

• Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

• Ability to spend periods on your feet and walking throughout the warehouse
• Ability to lift to 50lbs unassisted

Travel:

• Some overnight travel may be occasionally required. Should travel be required a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this position. Must provide own transportation.

Clearances and Certifications:

• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

Education and Experience:

• A college degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred, along with at least 2 years of experience working with WMS platforms.
• Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain management
• Experience with ERP's and API integrations is a plus
• Understanding of SQL and database management is a plus
