What You Will Do
- Researches and analyzes technical/operational problems surrounding systems/applications; makes recommendations for resolution. Refers complex and unresolved issues to management.
- Assesses system "bugs" and works with HCHB technical staff to define resolution plan. Collaborates with leadership to prioritize order of resolution.
- Gathers business requirements for system updates/changes; develops project plans for the development, testing and implementation of those changes.
- Works with management to communicate system updates/changes to clinical and operations staff. Provides direct training, as needed.
- Performs system administration tasks, such as granting system access, importing pharmacy data, and performing other data integrity and reconciliation analyses.
- Works collaboratively with members of IT to communicate data/system needs.
- Retrieves data from mainframe and other constructed databases, reviews accuracy of data prior to analysis and corrects discrepancies.
- Analyzes data, identifies trends, reoccurring problems, statistically significant findings and prepares reports/summaries for management review.
- Prepares reports, tables, graphs, statistical analyses and provides explanatory documentation. Compiles and analyzes data sets using appropriate software. Summarizes data in user friendly reports that include statistical summaries and qualitative analysis.
- Understands systems and programs used within program in order to respond to systems/operations/data needs. Keeps informed of latest technology.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field of study required
Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience in business operations or general office experience required
- Effective oral/written communication, interpersonal and analytic skills required
- Proficient with personal computers, including Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel required
- General knowledge of mainframe systems and pen-based systems preferred
Compensation$63,800.00 - $79,800.00 Annual
