SALARY RANGE: $18 - $20 / Hr

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

The Feed Mill Ingredient Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the receiving of all materials, ingredients, and trucks into the Feed Mill. This position involves tight deadlines and scheduling, constant communication with management, vendors, and farm managers, feed truck drivers, mill technicians and feed sales specialists.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate all bulk ingredients received into the Feed Mill, which includes working with the appropriate vendors to ensure product is ready and available.
  • Coordinate check-in process for all trucks into the Feed Mill by communicating with the trucking company with load information, location, and ingredient.
  • Weigh in and moisture test of products, review bills of lading, and prepare scale tickets and log sheets.
  • Order ingredients in the warehouse for ingredients/medicated bags and perform weekly inventory. Prepare sample feed bags as requested.
  • Work with company vendors to ensure high quality, cost effective and value-added feed products.
  • Records data according to regulations and standards
  • Assures all products are accounted for with either an invoice or a delivery ticket.
  • Receives and records payments from customers.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines the nature of call and directs caller to appropriate person.
  • Participate as a contributing team member, in appropriate company-wide meetings and trainings.
  • Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, EPA, OSHA, DOT and other regulatory agency policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.
  • All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred. Requires a high school diploma, GED or related experience equivalent. Valid Driver's License is required. Ability to work extended hours.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
