Featured Job Associate Chief Medical Officer, Cancer Services Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center Full Time 84435BR Job Summary The Associate Chief Medical Officer, Cancer Services (ACMO) involves oversight of medical operations for Cancer Services within the Ambulatory Business Unit, ensuring patients receive the highest quality clinical care. Provides physician leadership for Cancer Services faculty practice(s) and act as liaison between doctors and other healthcare executives. Implements safe, cost-effective, efficient medical interventions and ensures seamless medical care across inpatient units and ambulatory sites. Focused on improving ambulatory access and modernizing operations. Develops and/or facilitates quality measurements for clinical programs; monitors and improves quality and safety metrics. Establishes and monitors compliance with regulations required by external regulatory agencies, state, and other accreditation bodies. Contributes to physician workforce planning and physician recruitment, evaluation and training. Assists the faculty practice(s) in resolving problems and questions of policy as they relate to the medical staff and patient care. Coordinates activities of the faculty practice medical staff, and assures compliance with medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $273,200 - $575,400 (Annual Rate). There are over 300 unique ambulatory clinics in 5 different locations. Required Qualifications
