What is the opportunity?

As the Director of the CNB Technology Business Office, you will be accountable for the oversight of the technology spend in support of CNB Business and Regulatory Remediation activity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating consistent communication between our technology business units, IT managers, and various cross-functional teams. They will possess a strong understanding of IT finance management principles and Technology Business Management methodologies.

What will you do?

  • Develop reporting incorporating all forecasted technology spend that is or will be allocated to CNB, including software development, infrastructure charges, support costs, vendor contracts, and software or service licensing.
  • Support annual technology portfolio and resource planning activities across CNB tech teams, ensuring overall alignment with CNB and CUSO Business Strategic Plan and allocated budget.
  • Develop financial forecasting and actual spend reporting on all vendor-based technology delivery or support charged to CNB, inclusive of in-business or enterprise services as well as external technology organizations.
  • Provide critical analysis of value for spend with CNB vendors, including evaluation of engagement models and delivery criteria.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities within the CNB technology spend through reorganization, renegotiation, consolidation and replacement strategies and opportunities.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 8+ years of Financial Management experience.
  • Experience in Financial Control and Reporting
  • Experience in partnering closely with program leaders and technology service providers on financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Experience in leading and participating in enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Developing and assessing financial indicators and reporting across a varied portfolio
  • Ability to navigate within large matrix organizational structures.
  • Strong People Management / Resource Management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Strong Excel and presentation tool skillset
  • Demonstrated Financial management across a portfolio, working at scale.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to program and executive leadership
  • Strong focus on collaboration and customer service
  • Effective at working diplomatically across teams with varying objectives.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $160,000-$250,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
