Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager (Contractor) to manage and streamline our AR processes on a temporary basis. This contract role is ideal for a finance professional with strong experience in billing, collections, and cash application who can hit the ground running and deliver immediate impact. The AR Manager (Contractor) will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely collections, accurate reporting, and process efficiency during a critical phase of our financial operations.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications
• Monitor outstanding balances and proactively manage aging reports to improve cash flow
• Work with internal teams (finance, sales, and operations) to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure client satisfaction
• Prepare regular AR reports, provide insights on collection trends, and support decision-making
• Assist with month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance AR efficiency and controls
• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable accounting standards

Experience/Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of AR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role

Knowledge and Skillsets Required

• Demonstrated experience with Blackline and NetSuite ERP is required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced or contract/consulting environment preferred
• Strong understanding of AR best practices, collections, and financial reporting
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
