Quality Technician jml ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS VALIDATION Operator Manager * Perform final and in process inspection of production parts daily in accordance with company quality assurance policies and customer specifications. * Process customer and supplier product rejects including recording and reporting. * Process internal product rejects including recording and reporting. * Report product and process quality based on facts and data. * Document and report in section finding and results, monitor corrective actions. * Follow and support existing standards. * Participate in problem solving activities * Help implement solutions including updating/ creating standards, training, and verification of effectiveness * Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES VALIDATION Operator Manager * Strong metal fabrication background. * Understands the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required. * Ability to safely and effectively operate various tools and equipment required. * Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Successfully completes all necessary safety and OSHA training requirements. ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS VALIDATION Certifications Or Prerequisites Required Manager Problem solving skills Detailed oriented Common sense approach - (Clear, simple, effective) Meets or exceeds performance expectations Successful completion of orientation Note: Performance expectations are based on years of service in position. Experience Required Process knowledge for tasks in area Education Required Minimum 3 years in a custom fabrication inspection environment, High School Diploma, HSED, GED NOTES AND OTHER INFORMATION Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.) * Ability to stand the duration of the employee's scheduled work hours. * The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. * The employee works in a production environment. * Good hand/ eye coordination
