Job Summary

The Accounting Assistant I will report to the Corporate Services Manager. They are primarily responsible for being the main point of processing procurement needs, staff and faculty reimbursement requests, and journal entries.

Minimum Required




  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to audit expenditures and assure policy compliance
  • Two to three years of bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred



Education




  • Two years of college with courses in accounting or business
  • Understands procurement policies and systems preferred



Salary Range: Minimum $18.59/hour - Maximum $30.69/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
