Itron is seeking a Global Quality Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing global audit processes, conducting internal audits and supporting ISO audits. This role is critical to ensure our quality management systems are robust, compliant, and continuously improving.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee global internal audit processes in accordance with ISO 9001.
- Manage ISO certifications as well as leading interactions during external audits.
- Support in responding to and addressing external audit observations.
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance to standards throughout the organization.
- Monitor and report on key audit metrics and performance indicators.
- Provide compliance training and support to staff on applicable ISO standards.
- Manage training program to support cross-functional ISO certification requirements.
- Prepare management review by working with departments throughout the organization to gather and report the appropriate information.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of audit experience with at least 1 year of lead auditor experience.
- Experience managing global audit processes and ISO audits.
- Experience leading ISO 9001 management reviews.
- Strong understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, etc.) and quality management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Certification in Quality Auditing (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
- Experience with quality management software and tools.
- Experience leading successful quality improvement projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location. Liberty Lake, WA: The base salary is $96,000- $175,000.
