We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working Account Executive that will managing a portfolio of commercial accounts and supporting business development initiatives to drive revenue growth and optimize partner satisfaction. This role serves as a key liaison between Starkey and its payer and provider partners, ensuring contractual commitments are met and value is delivered consistently. The Account Manager will leverage data insights, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to help elevate hearing health care access, promote the Starkey value proposition, and support the implementation of new business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

Account Management & Client Success



  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial accounts to achieve revenue and performance targets.
  • Prioritize and maintain relationships with accounts to drive revenue, supporting their unique strategies and growth potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., pricing, claims, customer service) to deliver seamless experiences aligned with client expectations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring metrics are met and corrective actions are taken when needed.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with partners to share results, communicate value delivered, and identify future opportunities.
  • Fulfill all contractual requirements, including processing of marketing fees, revenue share, and payer audits.
  • Act as an internal advocate for the client, escalating and resolving issues to maintain satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure system set up, pricing/policies, payments, billing (AR), customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor marketing efforts and ROI, to ensure growth and account success.


Strategic Planning & Operational Support



  • Develop marketing and communication strategies in partnership with all accounts to raise awareness around hearing health care.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements across departments to enhance payer and provider experiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure products, pricing, and services align with the needs of each account.


Business Development & Implementation Support



  • Assist with the onboarding and implementation of new accounts, ensuring a smooth transition and successful launch.
  • Support business development by articulating Starkey's value proposition and differentiators to prospective clients.
  • Help build and maintain a sales pipeline by researching new market opportunities and contributing to sales plans.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to review operational feasibility and align on contractual terms.
  • Serve our accounts better than anyone else.


Other Responsibilities



  • Maintain thorough knowledge of healthcare industry trends and payer landscapes.
  • Participate in professional meetings, conferences, and industry events as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements



  • Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
    • Master's degree or MBA preferred.


  • Experience

    • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in account management, healthcare, health insurance, or medical devices.
    • Strong understanding of payer contracts, benefits administration, and claims processes preferred.

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, claims, and benefit systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate insights into action
  • High level of initiative and ownership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills
  • Strong planning and problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $71,610 -$99,750/ year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
