Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Development Leader for Mapro North America. This individual will be responsible for driving and leading the business growth of the Mapro business in North America, as integral part of the NA sales team. The role requires a strong understanding of the rotating machine maintenance and lubrication market, along with the ability to define and implement effective sales development and sales growth plans

Key responsibilities:


  • Focus with the frontline sales team on actions and activities to grow the Mapro business in North America.


  • Develop an overall Mapro strategy including a sales growth plan in conjunction with the frontline sales team based upon a deep understanding of the maintenance and lubrication market in North America and our current Mapro offering.


  • Align with the channel development team to evaluate go to market channels and adjust the distributor landscape, including traditional and e-commerce.


  • Deploy, manage and budget the fleet of NAM MaPro trucks ensuring growth and ROI


  • Build a MaPro community in North America involving sales, customer services, and application engineering to enhance focus and organizational capabilities for driving Mapro sales growth.


  • Align with pricing team to provide input to pricing strategies and policies.


  • Work cooperatively with marketing to define and implement promotional and sales campaigns, off-line and online.


  • Provide input on assortment management and stocking policies to secure local availability and service levels.


  • Establish local service capabilities related to product repair customer complaint management and product calibration services.


  • Act as the interface between the local market and the central Mapro team. and provide input on new offer development in order to capture regional specific business opportunities.


  • Utilize the Mapro central capabilities and funnel them towards the NA market.





Requirements:


  • Proven experience in sales and business development leadership in the distribution business in the industrial market.


  • Excellent understanding of market dynamics and customer needs within the industrial maintenance field in NA.


  • Experience from the lubricants business is a plus.


  • Combining a holistic approach in setting direction, mobilizing resources, with hands-on mentality in connecting with distributors and end-users, capturing business opportunities.


  • Ability to build and lead cross-functional teams, influencing without authority.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
