Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for an Epic Healthy Planet - Application Analyst Lead to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

Under general direction, responsible for application and integration of information technology in thehealthcare setting. This position will serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to alignsystem design with operational processes. This includes data collection, workflow analysis, systemconfiguration, testing, and support. Participates in application deployment and procedure documentation.Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use. Has technical knowledge of all phases of applications system analysis and project management. May have duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other Application analysts,personnel, and project team members. Acts as project leader for projects with moderate to large budgetsor system-wide implications, multiple projects of a short to long-term duration, and medium to largeprojects.

Essential Duties:

* Manage stakeholder expectations by analyzing expectations and requirements.

* Identify project issues and risks and resolve or escalate as appropriate.

* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to complete tasks.

* Participate in several projects at one time.

* Lead multiple projects concurrently.

* Provide advanced knowledge of product features, functionality and utilization of theapplication software.

* Monitor system effectiveness and/or performance to determine if there are any potentialproblems, report critical findings to peers and/or manager and resolve complex problems.

* Participate/lead in disaster recovery initiatives.

* Review and test changes, interfaces, data conversion, enhancements, and each newrelease as assigned.

* Serve as the technical lead for team and provide training to other team members.

* Work as the primary technical liaison with vendor, interface team client/server and allother technicians.

* Provide assigned on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.

* Provide 24/7 support when scheduled.

* Resolve or triage support calls as applicable.

* Serve as a resource to Associate, Intermediate, and Senior level analysts as needed forresolution of support calls.

* Develop and maintain test scripts to reflect proposed workflow solutions.

* Support the training team by keeping trainers abreast of new functionality and systemchanges.

* Develop and maintain documentation on the organization's file share platform.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

  • Bachelor's degree with seven years' related experience or a minimum four years' direct experience in lieu of degree

  • Must obtain training required to support primary application (e.g., Epic Willow Inpatient, EpicWillow Ambulatory, Epic Beacon, epic Ambulatory, Epic Compass Rose, Epic Willow Inventory, Omnicell)within 6 months
