What You Will Do:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Reporting: Investigate inventory issues and generate regular inventory reports, present findings to management.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate closely with suppliers and planning to ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials and containers and resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory management.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as corporate packaging team, production, and logistics, to align inventory strategies with business goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' work experience in logistics, transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Transportation or a related field of study
  • Proven track record of performing under pressure to meet firm timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and interact within a team atmosphere.
  • Easily adaptable to changing business needs, market conditions, and functional goals and strategy.
  • Experience with third-party domestic carriers
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and Access (or relatable TMS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S or CI methodology
