Job Description: The Fulfillment Center Operations Manager I, working closely with the Senior Fulfillment Manager, plays a vital role in achieving the company's financial and operational objectives by providing both strategic and tactical leadership within a Fulfillment Center. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Fulfillment Center site leader (Sr. Manager) to implement the site's vision, strategy, and operations within the Regal Rexnord network. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence by meeting expectations across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth (SQDCG) to support various customers across multiple business units. The leader will act as a business partner, aligning with and supporting both internal and external customers throughout the organization. The Fulfillment Center Manager I will be actively involved in hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and providing feedback for both direct and indirect reports within the Fulfillment Center. It is expected that the incumbent stays current on industry knowledge and expertise in various fulfillment concepts, practices, and procedures. This leader must also ensure that the distribution center complies with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This position reports directly to the Sr Fulfillment Manager (site leader) at our McAllen, TX, Fulfillment Center location.
Major Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with HR and site leaders to ensure that policies and procedures support the achievement of all safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction goalsfor the overall facility.
- Serves as a role model for the Regal Business System by setting the example for the committed and data-driven deployment of acontinuous improvement methodology. Specifically, this includes executing action plans, engaging associates, and utilizing daily management tools to implement strategic initiatives.
- Drives continuous improvement using tools and activities, including the Regal Business System (RBS) self-assessments, audit processes, Safety investigations, and Fulfillment Center KPIs focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth (SQDCG). Leads efforts to develop a culture of highly engaged business owners.
- Ensures the daily activities of all warehouse departments and implements policies and procedures to ensure the shipment of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and of desired quality. Ensures adherence to all safety procedures and achievement of safety performance indicators.
- Works with functional or operational Supervisors to understand current and future shipment needs and develops plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing activities.
- Maintains effective communication channels with multiple business leaders and functional leadership (e.g., Human Resources, Quality, Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, and Sales). Foster strong relationships between Supply Chain and its customers to drive total cost productivity through operational excellence, standardization, and consolidation.
- Ensures that products and services are delivered to the required quality, cost, and delivery performance levels. Focuses on continuous improvement of shipment and processes while monitoring speed, cost, quality, and safety metrics.
- Actively involved in employee development activities (development plans, 9-box, etc.), retaining employees who are capable of sustaining our position as a leader in customer service and delivery.
- Collaborates with HR and site leaders to ensure that policies and procedures support the achievement of all safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction goalsfor the overall facility.
- Proactively coordinates with various business divisions to ensure that customers are being serviced according to expectations.
- Responsible for operating within budget and monitoring the cost and effectiveness of distribution activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and distribution standards
- Engages in all safety initiatives and programs (Safety Training, Safety committee, etc.) for warehouse employees. May conduct formal trainings as needed.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent.
- 3 - 5 Years of experience leading in a fast-paced distribution center or warehouse operations environment. Transportation and/or Logistics experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and application of lean process and tools strongly desired.
- Results-oriented, process improvement focused.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and policies.
- Strong critical reasoning skills with the ability to identify and solve problems. Ability to make sound decisions regarding resource utilization and needs.

Travel: 0 - 20% Language: English (Must be bi-lingual in Spanish) Work Environment/Physical Requirements: This position operates in a Warehouse environment, typically indoors, but may occasionally require access to outdoors for work purposes. The position requires the ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, and twist; see, hear, and speak; use fingers and hands to handle controls or products; and use hands and arms to reach, grasp, and carry products. Frequently lifting and moving up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. is required. This position also requires handling different temperatures, as the Warehouse is hot in the summer and cooler in the winter. This position may also require individuals to stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours.
