STV is actively seeking aCybersecurity Consulting Program Lead for various locations to be a part of our Transportation and Infrastructure Division. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in operational technology (OT) / Industrial Control Systems (ICS), hereafter OT, cybersecurity who is interested in working in a challenging environment and facilitating the growth of STV's cybersecurity practice. The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of cybersecurity regulatory requirements for various critical infrastructure sectors and the design, deployment, and testing of communication and control systems in complex environments, including but not limited to rail and transit systems and vehicles, water and wastewater systems, electric vehicles, and associated charging infrastructure, mobility technologies / ITS, and smart cities. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong intrapreneurial spirit with a proven track record of successfully promoting and selling cybersecurity services.

STV is highly respected in systems engineering, cybersecurity program development, and implementation for rail and transit systems. As this practice continues to grow you will be asked to guide a new generation of professionals to meet this emerging and demanding field. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers to grow our Cybersecurity Practice.

  • Promote and sell STV's Cybersecurity Practice via tradeshows, social media, response to public bids, and through active client prospecting efforts.

  • Coordinating efforts to expand our practice and team with STV's Regional Development Directors (RDDs) and our marketing teams.

  • Identify and strategically address market trends and customer needs to facilitate program success.

  • Serve as a Technical Lead for cybersecurity consulting efforts involving cross-functional collaboration.

  • Support clients in gaining, monitoring, and maintaining cybersecurity maturity based upon recognized models and/or frameworks.

  • Conduct and/or oversee the provision of cybersecurity services including governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) efforts, vulnerability assessments, training and exercises, incident response plan development, and secure architecture design.

  • Conduct a comprehensive annual review of STV's Cybersecurity Business Plan to develop short-term and long-term goals for the expansion of STV's cybersecurity services to our clients.

  • Ethically represent STV's cybersecurity capabilities to our clients throughout business development and operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or another relevant field.

  • Substitute five additional (5) years of direct cybersecurity experience for the educational requirements.

  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive cybersecurity experience specializing in Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and/or other OT systems.

  • Proven track record of business development success with an appreciable understanding of cybersecurity for OT systems.

  • Experience with security engineering, cybersecurity assessment methodologies, security control implementation and validation, change management processes, and system life-cycle management in OT environments.

  • Highly effective in all manners of communications including a demonstrable ability to write technical content and reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as both a client and a provider.

  • The preferred candidate will be experienced in assessing and determining client needs to craft appropriate programs and enhancements to facilitate client success.

  • Demonstrated hands-on technical capabilities in the implementation of cybersecurity controls.

  • Technical certifications are not required for this role, however, candidates with applicable certifications may receive precedence.
