Team Lead of Credit & Collection - Hybrid-Bohemia, NY

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Lead a team of 4 employees in the credit and collections department, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.

• Perform credit and collections for assigned customer accounts.

• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and improve collections.

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess creditworthiness and make informed decisions.

• Prepare and present credit and collections reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.

• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues and improve customer relationships.

• Handle escalated customer inquiries and disputes, providing solutions and maintaining positive relationships.

• Provide training and enforce the use of template procedures.

• Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for audits related to credit and collections.

• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

What will convince us:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in credit and collections or related financial roles

• Ability to go onsite to the Bohemia, NY office at least 2 days a week

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation will be a base salary between $70,000- $80.000 plus bonus, depending on experience and skill set.
