Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is critical for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analyzing financial data, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.



Responsibilities

    Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with business leaders and corporate department heads to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain financial reports to support business decision-making, ensuring accuracy and relevance of data presented.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and assist in the preparation of audit materials.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments to gather necessary information for accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Special Projects: Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
  • The wage range for this position is $93,800.00-$135,000.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience


Qualifications

Education
* Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Required)

Experience
* 5+ years Experience in financial reporting, analysis, or accounting, preferably in a corporate setting (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles, High
* Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to senior management High
* Microsoft Excel High
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. High
* Accuracy and attention to detail High
* Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment High

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, ERP systems, SQL, Visual Basic, and Python; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik is a plus along with exposure to AS400, Cargowise or other similar systems


Licenses and Certifications
* Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) - (Preferred)
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - (Preferred)
