Press Operator

The injection molding press operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding presses that produce plastic parts that meet the quality and production standards.

The operator ensures proper press settings, inspects molded parts and maintains a clean and safe work environment.

• Experience working with Delmia
• Operate a press according to established procedures and production orders
• Monitor the presses during the cycles to detect malfunctions or irregularities
• Inspect finished parts for defects, quality, and compliance with specifications
• Trim, clean and package molded parts as needed
• Notify the supervisor or maintenance of mechanical issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization around presses and work stations
• Follow safety procedures and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
• Attend all mandatory company shift communication meetings
• Complete all safety education classes
