The Cybersecurity Performance Evaluation Services team member shall provide cybersecurity performance evaluation services that manages the Cybersecurity Operation Cell (CSOC) requirements received from various performance evaluation sources such as the DoD Scorecard and the IC Performance Evaluation Model. This includes receiving, processing, tracking, reporting on, coordinating, and developing implementation plans to ensure NGA's compliance within established timelines. The Team Member shall implement an IT-Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and work across all CSOC Services to continuously evaluate and improve CSOC Services to the maximum maturity level achievable. The Team Member shall develop and maintain a CSOC Quality Control Program to ensure the highest standards of operations across all CSOC services and products. Job Duties:
- Develop, manage, and maintain the CSOC quality assurance and control program to ensure the highest standards of operations across all CSOC services;
- Perform assessments of CSOC capability maturity using a capability maturity model approved by the Government CSOC Director;
- Develop, coordinate, and implement plans, processes, and other actions as required to improvecapability maturity;
- Assess CSOC requirements as identified in the DoD Scorecard and IC Cybersecurity Performance Evaluation Model to determine applicability to the CSOC, and developing, coordinating,implementing, and reporting plans to ensure CSOC compliance;
- Provide input to the weekly CSOC Status Report;
- Coordinate and collaborate with any internal or external stakeholders (government and contractor) as needed or directed by the government in support of this service
Qualified candidates must:
- Have experience with implementing a Capability Maturity Model in a cybersecurity environment
- Prior experience with program quality control
- Be familiar with Security Operations Cell (SOC) environment
- Have experience conducting performance evaluations for cybersecurity services
- Be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Be proactive in performing assigned job duties
- Be an excellent communicator
- Be a team player and facilitate a collaborative work environment
- Have DOD 8570.01 IAT II certification and be willing to obtain a CSSP Auditor certification within six months of joining the team.
