About the Role:

As part of the Ops Readiness team, to ensure that all interconnected systems, from reservoir to export, required for delivering the production profile are properly integrated. Additionally, to coordinate the development and the assessment all reasonable scenarios to ensure that the designed facilities can operate safely and efficiently across all of them.; plus being the owner of the process to define and track to completion all the actions coming from the analysis.

The role will evolve throughout the project and will include direct reports, taking accountability for delivering special activities such as the assurance of production chemicals and the finalization of the integrity build, integrating with the Nexus tool and SAP link for execution.

The position is part of the Operations Readiness extended leadership

* To start as an individual contributor and evolve into 3-4 technical direct reports at approx. 1 year into the position

Duties & Responsibilities:

The production profile can be met:

o The Trion production forecasts and reserves reflect the constraints from sub-surface outcomes and Trion offshore oil and gas infrastructure. The hydraulic performance and constraints of the Trion production system are understood and consistent with the delivery of the revised production forecast.

o The overall integrated system capacities, reliability, availability and utilization assumptions are appropriate and can be achieved in practice.

To assure that the Trion production system is integrated, and operable:

o The Trion production system operating strategy is robust with respect to management of subsurface uncertainties (rates, pressures, fluid compositions, water production and production chemistry related issues) during all modes of operation (commissioning, start-up, ramp-up, steady state and planned/unplanned shutdowns).

o The operating and integrity envelopes of the Trion production system are understood, safe and operable throughout field life.

o If any operating modes or integration issues need to be tested in practice before determining suitability.

Coordinate operability workshops, create the actions tracking system and ensure timely close out by the relevant team responsibility

Understand any process learnings for application to other projects.

Skills & Experience:

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, with preference for Chemical / Petroleum engineering or similar.

Experience and Technical Competencies



  • 15 years relevant experience in the upstream petroleum industry with a strong background in projects, production, and development, and with emphasis on facilities engineering and operations.
  • Offshore experience in leadership positions is preferred
  • Strong Communication and Presentation skills
  • Able to develop connectivity with existing corporate networks is a high plus, to incorporate lessons learnt and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with International E&P regulatory requirements
  • Strong attention to detail



Languages



  • English proficiency
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus
