Description: As a Sr Data Center Computer Operator, you will support and monitor critical business and batch processes. You will work closely with support teams to resolve issues and collaborate for system resolution. This role requires working weekends and holidays on ten-hour shifts. The three-week rotation schedule is as follows: Duties: * Monitor and resubmit file transmissions (FTP's) * Monitor zOS server and iSeries production activities * Monitor system consoles and environmental equipment, adjust schedules to maintain performance * Print checks and reports, sort, and distribute * Perform training and documentation * Record and perform accurate shift turnovers * Monitor daily production schedule * Engage support when critical issues occur * Create incident tickets for failed batch processes * Interact with programmers and Production Services * Ensure security, regulatory (SOX), and corporate standards and policies are enforced * Monitor batch SLA for completion * Monitor critical systems across the Enterprise for issues * Participate in bridge calls when needed * Participate in annual D/R test * Update documentation and procedures as needed Top Skills: * Monitoring experience of zOS Servers and iSeries production activities * Monitor system consoles and environmental equipment, adjust schedules to maintain performance * Perform training and documentation * Monitor daily production schedule * Create incident tickets for failed batch processes * Participate in annual D/R test * Ensure security, regulatory (SOX), and corporate standards and policies are enforced Work Environment: * 100% Onsite in Evansville, IN * 4 day work week, 10-hour shifts working 2nd shift * Rotating three-week schedule: * Week 1: Monday - Thursday * Week 2: Tuesday, Friday - Sunday * Week 3: Monday, Wednesday - Friday Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $39.00/hr.
