Description

This individual will monitor, configure and support the Company's network infrastructure. They will provide professional technical services and support to R.D. Offutt Company team members. This position offers room for career growth, with the opportunity to manage projects and technologies. Specific Duties Include:



  • Assist in network implementation projects.
  • Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.
  • Install and configure computer network equipment.
  • Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.
  • Provide network support to users.
  • Monitor network to ensure optimal performance
  • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
  • Monitor and maintain the Company's voice communications system.
  • Make suggestions to end users regarding voice communications software and hardware solutions and offer support and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure uninterrupted access to all voice telecommunication features, including voicemail, ACD or Contact Center systems.
  • Evaluate new and existing security software technologies to enhance network application performance and security.
  • Assist with the execution and maintenance of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery methods for the network infrastructure in conjunction with overall company Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery plan.
  • Train, mentor and empower IT service desk team members to support all network technologies.
  • Utilize learning opportunities to enhance knowledge on leading edge technologies provided by the company; participate in educational opportunities offered as part of the position; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.
  • Follow change management processes.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience supporting an enterprise network.
  • Position will support acquiring certifications and enhancing technical knowledge through supported training.
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
