Job Description

You will join a new established team doing Business Development (BD) for Food & Beverage (F&B) as part of the PL (Product Line) Performance Drives & Motion. This BD role for F&B has been created to unleash the full growth and value potential of a promising businesses, in a unique and agile environment. Our Performance Drives products are recognized by their many features, quality and reliability, and we believe we are geared for significant growth over the coming years.

The "Regional Vertical Lead F&B" will lead, drive and enable regional/local sales plans & strategy execution in the region/countries by bringing knowledge to the sales teams, partners and customers about our F&B Drives solutions. Together we will work as a Team to win customers loyalty and to become the preferred Drives supplier for the future for selected customer. Sets the vision and strategy for F&B in collaboration with Sales and bring outside-in view from the regions to the PL LT and PM/PD organizations.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Front line business development, fueling growth through our channels incl. strategic important customers (Partners, SI's, End Users & OEM's) within the F&B market in NAM region.
  • Develop and deliver Drives solutions using available "Sales Marketing & Services incl. DrivePro", Product Management & Development resources tailored to value propositions that address customer's needs.
  • Act as the extended arm of the F&B Vertical to sales companies to support and drive execution of sales & strategy plans in strong alignment between both parties
  • Build detailed plan with regions/countries, lead/secure execution incl. marketing goals
  • Secure critical mass and focus for the F&B Team in the focus countries
  • Bring outside in view from the regions to the F&B BD Team and PM/PD organizations incl. product gabs
  • Key link/contact on key topics like pricing execution and our portfolio
  • Drive and support the sales of our existing portfolio to achieve the growth target for the region
  • Identify with regions key customers, focus, and priorities: from GKA to local customers
  • Coordinate with GKAM on local activities
  • Support on critical topics, customers
  • Business development: secure execution / support on key actions and win-room sessions
  • Establish, develop and deploy opportunity pipeline.
  • Support business case development on new product opportunities or any ideas
  • Support focus area KPI's
  • Full mandate on price positioning for the region to maximize profitable growth for all channels
  • Ability to convert prospects, build stakeholder engagement, trust, and lead negotiations including to a secure contract ramp up.

We like to see that you possess as min. a bachelor's degree in either Engineering, Business or Economics. In addition, preferably 8-10+ years experience in drives and 5+ years F&B industry experience within an international Matrix organization.



  • Sales Management incl. strategy development & execution
  • A strong business and commercial understanding
  • Strong leadership experience, engaging with senior management both internally and with customers
  • Ideal candidate will have managed a local/regional sales team with clear goals and objective setting
  • Winning mindset and never give up attitude.
  • Have fluent (in word and writing) English language skills. Other languages belonging to the regional countries are a plus.
  • Willing to travel more than 50% in the region with limited international travel

Employee Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000- $170,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
