Apex Tool Group, one of the world's largest manufacturers of hand tools and power tools is looking for an Sr. Analyst, Amazon Media to oversee marketing which supports our Amazon business. Responsibilities include advertising strategy, campaign setup and management, and working closely with our brand teams and agency partners. This position will be onsite based in our Huntersville, NC office.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Develop and manage a multi-million-dollar media budget for Amazon, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads.
  • Monitor Amazon media performance, including budget, glance views, CTR, CPC, ROAS, and incrementality, optimizing campaigns to support our sales forecast/objectives.
  • Track relevant trending keywords to inform branded vs unbranded strategy for media campaigns and to inform SEO best practices for product pages.
  • Help manage digital merchandising efforts for our Amazon catalogue including brand stores, promotional banners, media creative, and enhanced content for product pages.
  • Conduct regular analysis of Amazon category landscape including top-selling SKUs, sales, share, traffic, conversion, and ratings/reviews; share insights with brand and product teams to drive overall marketing/product strategy.
  • Work closely with in-house creative and brand teams and manage relationship with our Amazon media agency (Pacvue).
  • Stay current on Amazon trends, having a bias for experimentation and A/B testing; ensure we are taking advantage of newest Amazon marketing tools.
  • Deliver insightful and professional presentations to our leadership team on the state of our Amazon business and progress on key priorities.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • 5-8 years of Amazon advertising and marketing experience.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar retail media budgets.
  • In-depth knowledge of Amazon advertising strategies, tactics, tools, and KPIs.
  • Strong analytics skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of Amazon's algorithms and the eCommerce formula of optimizing traffic and conversion to drive sales.
  • Ability to travel 10%.
