Intermediates Representative

HF Sinclair is seeking an Intermediates Representative in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will contribute to the development of functional strategy and leads others to resolve unique problems. You will manage high-level, complex purchasing, scheduling and selling for a wide range of products including feedstock's and refined products such as natural gas, natural gas liquids, naphtha, unfinished diesel, light cycle oil, heavy oils, asphalt, petroleum coke, sulfur, and other products for internal and external marketing network. This role will require you to utilize expertise and in-depth knowledge of job discipline.

• Manages the buying and selling of assigned products to meet internal/ external customer specifications.
• Builds strong personal relationship with traders ,end users and refiners
• Develops and manages supply forecasting, market analysis, sales purchase strategies, scheduling and logistics, operating plans and inventory balancing for assigned products and territory
• Studies market intelligence and economic analyses to determine the best business approach and plan for the Company
• Continuously remains up to date with changing product quality specification and supply and demand patterns
• Completes risk evaluation and regular reporting to management on current and future business opportunities, transactions, commitments and profitability
• Communicates with refinery, planning, logistics and contract and pricing to ensure efficient completion of contracts
• Develops economic analysis of highest net backs and price forecasting
• Provides incremental value through system optimization and earnings generated in markets where we have core operations
• Assists Manager, Intermediates & feedstock's with product marketing and overall strategy
• Works independently and keeps management informed while operating within authorized parameters
• Cooperates with company entities to identify, negotiate and implement commercial opportunities
• Calls on existing and prospective customers and builds business relationships, recommending and initiating establishment of new alternate supply points
• Monitors purchases and sales determines growth opportunities
• Acts as a resources for colleagues that are less experienced

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion

5 - 15 years of experience in a combination of financial analysis, logistics and supply, and product marketing experience in the Oil & Gas industry is required. High-level understanding of refinery operations.

PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:

Refining, refined products, asphalt-marketing and heavy oils experience are preferred.

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business or technical-related fields is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL:

MBA preferred

Excellent team building skills. Ability to influence the organization with facts, data and build consensus around a plan which results in actions taken. Advanced crisis management skills: ability to handle situations involving conflicts arising out of products being off specification, short/long term refinery/logistical/human error problems causing product outages, customer complaints, etc. Working understanding of supply and distribution. Self-starter with drive and ability to achieve planned objectives. Strong creative, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to create mutual respect with peers and a positive work environment, perform a variety of assignments as related to assigned product, and multi-task. Working knowledge of Microsoft products and general SAP end user experience. Excellent computer skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others, in both written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view.

Office based with travel required up to 40% by land or air; however initially travel time will be up to 40% of the time. Subject to varying road and weather conditions.
