The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment. Acts as a senior material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Northlake, TX site location. Aids and mentors lower-level employees. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. This position is for 2nd shift, Sunday - Thursday, 3 pm- 11:30 pm. What we offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $28 to $33.30 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do in This Role
  • Repair and maintain MHE, including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve electrical circuitry issues.
  • Build and close work orders in our asset management system, detailing labor hours, maintenance activities, and parts used.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve conveyance problems efficiently.
  • Locate and manage spare part's inventory to prevent downtime.
  • Perform sophisticated maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet strict specifications.
  • Aid in training customers to operate equipment seamlessly.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, addressing equipment failures and faults.
  • Identify and resolve problems as they arise, ensuring continuous operation.
What We Are Looking For
  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. An associate's degree or vocational technical training is preferred. Niche skill training/certification is a plus.
  • Senior-level knowledge with 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
  • Proven experience in the area of responsibility and a successful demonstration of the key tasks listed above.
  • Outstanding customer-facing skills with the ability to maintain professional communications through various channels.
  • Experience leading projects, teams, and advising on day-to-day operations and tasks for the onsite maintenance team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds, regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach.
  • Capability to occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Adaptability to work in various conditions, including small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, temperature extremes, noise, vibration, and standing on concrete for long periods.
