Job Summary:
The WIDA Assistant Director of Professional Learning Curriculum is located within the Educator Learning, Research, and Practice (ELRP) department and will report to the WIDA Professional Learning Curriculum Director. This position will be responsible for leading the creation of professional learning content across WIDA's programs. The Assistant Director (AD) will also, in collaboration with the Director of Professional Learning Curriculum, plan for professional learning curriculum strategy and oversee the more intentional integration of Spanish Language Development (SLD) and English Language Development (ELD) content. In addition, the AD will lead a team of curriculum specialists, support educator outreach initiatives, and collaborate with instructional designers, researchers, and facilitators to ensure the consistent quality of WIDA?s professional learning content. This role may also assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the director and/or required by WIDA's strategic priorities. Responsibilities: Coordinates management of multiple related projects and/or ongoing operations, which are directed toward a common objective. Monitors the cost, schedule, and performance of component projects and operations while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program.
