This is role is hybrid out of our Tonawanda, NY office. It will allow some work from home opportunity and some in the office work dependent on company policy.

Work Schedule: Monday -Friday 8 AM- 4:30 PM ET

Overview:

The Logistics Analytics and Reporting Analyst is responsible to recommend, implement and ensure policies and procedures for uniform compliance with processing of customer accounts.

  • Monitor and control operational activities ensuring consistent and uniform processing by developing reports and reporting methods, writing procedures and resolving customer and technical issues.
  • Initiate and respond to executives, managers, and senior advisors on issues regarding all aspects for the T&B customer partnerships, customer requirements, services offered, quality assurance, and may include contractual agreements.
  • May assist with the direction and success of the multifunctional brokerage operations, including the development and growth of the account globally.
  • Analyze and assess compliance with U.S. Customs and other government agencies, laws, and regulations.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of new services offered to customers.
  • Identify areas requiring improvement and coordinate improvement processes to ensure productivity gains to expedite customer freight.
  • Maintain relationship with U.S. Customs to ensure customers are responding adequately to customs requirements and that we are properly representing customer interests. Identify and coordinate training needs required for operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent. Customs broker's license preferred. Three (3) years of experience in the customs brokerage industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with FedEx Operating Company management, their customers, government agencies, T&B staff and management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Customs and other federal agency laws, regulations and procedures governing the customs brokerage industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to develop and maintain corporate policies and procedures, including comprehensive written skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills required to lead or assist in the development of status reporting.
  • Extensive working knowledge of company and company computer systems, including SharePoint, are preferred.
  • PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint are preferred.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related fa permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
