Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping facilities running smoothly and looking their best? We're looking for a full-time Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team, based in the Tampa Bay area with travel to Fort Myers, Naples, and surrounding locations as we grow. In this role, you'll perform various maintenance tasks, complete project assignments, and support the overall appearance and function of our branches. The Opportunity: We are seeking a full time Sr Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Florida locations.
What You'll Do:

  • Perform moderately complex maintenance and repairs including, but not limited to, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, furniture, appliances, equipment, parking lot, landscaping and exteriors.
  • Perform small to medium scale installations of drywall, paint, flooring, window treatments and office furniture systems.
  • Perform general preventive and supportive building system maintenance, and complete reports.
  • Support department and corporate projects.
  • Provide vendors with building access during and outside business hours and monitor their performance.
  • Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of all locations and vehicles.
  • Move furniture, equipment and materials.
  • Complete errands and tasks as requested by management.
  • Act as back-up or support to Facilities & Services team members.
  • Direct the efforts of team members on specific projects as assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some trades training or college preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in a maintenance or construction role.
  • Knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and related trades.
  • Ability to read and apply instructions, utilize hand and power tools, and correctly complete installations.
  • Ability to move 80 lbs., multiple times.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and prioritize requests.
  • Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude.
  • Evening, weekend, holiday and overtime hours, as required.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and repetitive lifting.
  • Exposure to inclement weather.
  • Travel between locations; use of personal vehicle may be required.
