About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Transformation Intern to support our efforts in digitizing shop floor paper-based data collection systems and integrating our ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) management systems with our SharePoint-based audit and follow-up task management platform.

This role will provide hands-on experience in process improvement, systems integration, and digital tool development within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to ISO frameworks and enterprise platforms like Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing paper-based data collection processes on the shop floor.
  • Assist in mapping workflows and converting them into digital forms or apps using SharePoint, Power Apps, or other tools.
  • Support the integration of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 documentation, audit schedules, findings, and corrective actions into SharePoint.
  • Help develop dashboards or tracking tools for audit follow-up tasks and system health checks.
  • Conduct basic user training or create help materials for newly implemented digital tools.
  • Identify and document opportunities for improving efficiency and data accessibility.



Qualifications:



  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 standards is a plus.
  • Experience or coursework in SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar low-code platforms preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working on the shop floor and engaging with production and quality personnel.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
