Job Summary:
The Product Cost Analyst is primarily responsible for providing costing support and analytics for all facilities with an emphasis on our stamping and specialty roll-forming operations.

The position reports to the Cost Accounting Manager and has future career progression opportunities both in Accounting and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Learn the costing module on the new ERP system including how to create parts and set up BOM and routers
* Prepare various reports to assist with review and analysis of inventory costs and inventory variances
* Reviews aged inventory and slow-moving inventory, initiates discussions with the plant for proper disposition
* EDI invoice matching in current ERP system
* Tracking inventory and costs at third parties for our stamping business
* Review of aged receiving records for proper resolution
* Support the Cost Accounting Manager with preparation of capital projects
* Calculate inventory cost for our copper products
* Prepare and review labor and overhead standards on a quarterly basis
* Month end closing support and schedule prep
* Assistance with ad hoc projects as necessary

* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience with ERP systems
* Experience with IFS is a plus
* Knowledge of SQL & data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
* Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles
* 1 - 3 years of prior experience in a similar capacity
