About the Opportunity

The EnergyHub Marketing team is looking to hire a Marketing Analytics and Operations intern for the summer of 2025, from June until August 2025. The purpose of the internship is to support the team's marketing performance analysis, campaign optimization, and operational efficiencies that drive the growth and continuous improvement of our brand presence and customer engagement.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work within an industry-leading Marketing team dedicated to EnergyHub's mission and to gain exposure to a range of marketing analytics, operations, and data-driven decision-making. As an intern, you will participate in team meetups, discussions, and collaborative reviews, and you will work closely with a project lead to offer personalized guidance. This role is a hybrid position with an in-office requirement 3x per week.

Main Responsibilities: What you'll do



  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data to uncover trends and insights that drive campaign performance and operational improvements.
  • Performance Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations for ongoing campaigns.
  • Campaign Optimization: Assist in publishing and optimizing marketing campaigns across channels, including email, social media, and content marketing, by leveraging data insights.
  • Marketing Operations: Support the implementation and management of marketing tools and systems, ensuring accurate data and documentation and efficient workflows.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify customer behavior trends, competitive insights, and opportunities for marketing strategy improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work with the Marketing Team to ensure alignment with EnergyHub company goals and objectives.
  • Event Support: Help organize and promote events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives, ensuring data tracking and reporting are in place.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Experience: What you need



  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel andGoogle Sheets, .
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Completed two years of degree-level coursework in marketing, business, analytics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience and demonstrated interest in marketing analytics, operations, or data-driven decision-making.
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented
  • Enthusiasm for continued development in marketing and analytics.
  • Strong communication skills, including proactive updates on progress and blockers.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.


Preferred Skills and Experience: Nice-to-haves



  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zapier).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The salary range of this opportunity is listed belowand is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience. This allows opportunity for growth and development within the role. The salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
