Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Flight Mileage Mapping

Location: Remote or On-Site

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hr

This position is bonus eligible

Training Schedule: Mo-Fr 8am -5pm Central Time

Work Schedule: Sa and Su shifts required (min hrs/day), remainder worked on weekdays

May choose 4, 10-hr shifts or 5, 8-hr shifts/week

Full-Time, overtime as required

JOB SUMMARY

The Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Flight Mileage Mapping Rep works within the Trip Intake Team calculating transport mileage and confirming locations to ensure accurate billing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Ensure charting data is accurate.
• Calculate mileage accurately from tracking program.
• Confirm locations and add to billing system.
• Verify all information is correct/available for charges to be applied to the account.
• Ensure all accounts are worked appropriately to allow distribution to the floor in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience:

• 3 years data entry experience
• Ability to work within Excel - including functions, sort and filter, and re-size columns
• Ability to clearly communicate in written and verbal format
• Ability to think critically and apply correct logic in multiple situations
• Ability to download documents from websites and access documents downloaded
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Knowledge and experience of computers and related technology at an intermediate level
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Office 365

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year data analysis experience
• 1 year auditing experience
• Background in math or technical education

Preferred Education:

• High school diploma
• GED
• Or significant, relevant work experience
