Summary of Job Duties:This full-time, benefitted position serves as the executive assistant to the dean for the Clinton School of Public Service. They assist the Dean's office through schedule management, coordination and management of administrative duties, and provide support for faculty through information requests, report productions and administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Dean through schedule management and other administrative duties. Maintain up-to-date accurate calendar for Dean's schedule. Provide clerical support. Manage/order events at Dean's request. Coordinate and submit required business processes for the dean including reimbursements, travel arrangements, etc.. Ensures confidentiality of information and safeguards the security of data and records. Types and proofreads correspondence, reports and forms; corrects grammar and formats errors; drafts brief correspondence of a routine nature. Acts as the primary point of contact for external and internal stakeholders and responds to inquiries. Provide support for associate dean through information requests, report productions and administrative duties. Produce yearly reports and clerical support for the associate dean. Attend and document faculty meetings. Maintain up-to-date accurate calendar for associate dean's schedule. Provide assistance to faculty upon direction from associate dean. Complete special projects at the direction of supervisor.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution

  • At lest three years of administrative support experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing administrative support to an Executive Level leader

  • Experience managing multiple executive-level schedules/calendars that require high-level organization and attention to detail with a constant rearranging of priorities

  • Experience working in higher education

Additional Information:

Salary Information:

$50,000 - $60,000
