Apply Waste Pro State Location Waste Pro of Florida Summary SUMMARY OF POSITION: The compacter repair technician performs repairs and maintenance to compactors to maximize operations. RESPONSIBILITIES * The Compacter Repair Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on compactors. * Performs preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostics and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors. * May travel to customer locations within Region to repair containers. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION: Required: * Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair. * Valid drivers license. Preferred: * Mechanical or trade school certificate * Certificate in electronic diagnostics * ASE certificate * Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience.
