Sales Coordinator LinkedIn Twitter Email Message Share Category Sales All Locations 2959 Salinas Hwy, Monterey, California Position Type Full-Time/Regular Tracking Code 965 *GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:* This position assists all Fresh Pack Sales personnel with daily activities. *MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:* * Develops an understanding of the order entry system, the depth of DFV product line/codes, as well as all policies and procedures within DFV and the industry. Required Skills *JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:* * 3+ years' of working experience in a produce sales or customer service department, including order entry systems and or ecommerce platforms. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Some knowledge of agriculture, commodity markets and seasonal growing cycles in various regions is very helpful. * Ability to use independent judgement which effects customer satisfaction. * Strong PC and Mainframe, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point and/or similar BI platform systems knowledge. * Ability to stay focused on accuracy and detail in a fast-paced environment. * Self-motivated and able to perform in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to foster an environment of teamwork and Leadership within the Fresh Pack Sales team in this fast-paced environment. * Ability to manage long-distance professional relationships, and to accept constructive criticism. * Strong computer, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. * High attention to details and accuracy along with a strong ability to multi-task. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Needs to be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time * Must be able to climb a ladder, stand and or crouch * Needs to be able to lift 25 pounds WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Required Experience *EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:* * Bachelor's degree preferred PAY RATE: $26.20 - $27.40 Hourly EEO STATEMENT: We are an equal opportunity employer.
