Mid-Level HUMINT-Enabling Instructor
Position Summary DarkStar Intelligence is seeking an experienced Mid-Level HUMINT-Enabling Instructor to join our team in Washington, DC. This full-time, on-site position requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs in Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT). The role demands a deep understanding of HUMINT operations, including Title 10 and Title 50 authorities, and the ability to instruct and mentor students effectively. As a Senior Instructor, you will play a key role in maintaining the relevancy of course materials, evaluating student performance, and supporting both classroom and field training exercises. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of critical intelligence capabilities within the U.S. government.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, support, and deliver comprehensive training in all areas of Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT). Maintain the relevancy and accuracy of course materials through continuous research and analysis.
- Instruct with authority across the full spectrum of HUMINT-enabling training principles, including Title 10 and Title 50.
- Conduct assessments to identify training requirements and participate in course evaluations to measure the impact on students' knowledge and job performance.
- Evaluate student performance using verbal and written assessments in accordance with established course standards and procedures.
- Administer, evaluate, and synchronize blocks of instruction within the CI and HUMINT training curriculum, following Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) procedures.
- Deliver training through various methods, including classroom lectures, small group instruction, and practical exercises (e.g., role-play), conducted in-residence at a government facility.
- Serve as a platform instructor and potentially deploy for CONUS field-training exercises, acting as an instructor and/or role player alongside active-duty military and DoD civilian instructors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Clearance Level: TS/SCI
- CI Poly (Preferred)
- A minimum of eight(8) years of relevant operational experience in HUMINT Overt/Clandestine operations or HUMINT Operations Support.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in DoD CI and HUMINT enabling, collection operations management policies, legal authorities, functions, methodologies, and related IT systems.
- Education: Graduation from a recognized IC-level HUMINT course, such as:
- Marine Amphibious Ground Task Force (MAGTF-CI/HUMINT)
- Defense Strategic Debriefing Course (DSDC)
- Defense Overt Source Operations Course (DOSOC)
- Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course (DATC)
- Source Operations Course (SOC)
- Advanced Military Source Operations Course (AMSOC)
- Advanced Source Operations Course (ASOC)
- Advanced Source Operations Training (ASOT-III)
- Military Operations Training Course (MOTC)
- Field Tradecraft Course (FTC)
- Operations Tradecraft Course (OTC)
- HUMINT Support courses such as HUMINT Collection Operations Manager Course (HCOM), HUMINT Collection Management Officer (HCMO), HUMINT Collection Managers Course (HCMC), Operations Support Officer Course (OSOC), HUMINT Desk Officer Course (HDOC), Operational HUMINT Targeting Course (OHTC), or an IC School equivalent.
Salary Range
$125,000 - $132,500
